CLICK TO READ: AN INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHOR Rabbi Yerucham Fishel halevy Jacobs received his B.A. in comparative religion and Jewish history from the University of Vermont in 1979. During the next twelve years he studied in yeshiva Tomchei Temimim, and adjoining kollel in Kfar Chabad, Israel. Under the Lubavitcher Rebbe's direction he attained Rabbinic ordination from the worldwide Lubavitch organization as well as from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. He holds a Master of Higher Torah Studies degree from the Chief Rabbinate, a Doctorate (equivalency) from the Ministry of Religion, and has successfully completed studies as a Rabbinic Attorney. For over seventeen years he has been running the Harold Jacobs Chabad Student Synagogue at Tel Aviv University A practicing rabbi, he, his wife and seven children reside in Kfar Chabad, Israel.
